DMCA Policy

We respect intellectual property. We expect the same.

Affluent Era LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our websites to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our Site.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on affluentera.com or any affiliated website infringes your copyright, please submit a written notification containing the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL or other specific location on the Site where the material can be found
  4. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Designated Agent

DMCA notices should be sent to our designated agent via our contact page. Please include "DMCA Notice" in the subject line or message.

Our Response to Valid Notices

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  • Notify the content provider, member, or user that the material has been removed or disabled
  • Terminate access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances

Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its location before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notification

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material within 10–14 business days, unless the copyright owner files a court action seeking a restraining order.

Protection of Our Intellectual Property

All original content published on this Site — including research papers, working papers, executive summaries, essays, newsletter content, digital products, and brand materials — is protected by copyright. The trademark Affluent Era™ is the property of Affluent Era LLC.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or derivative use of our content will be addressed through appropriate legal channels, including but not limited to DMCA takedown notices and legal proceedings.

Good Faith

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that material was removed or disabled by mistake — may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
